    Samsung copies iOS 16's 'Lock Screen' customisation in latest One UI 5 beta 3 for Galaxy phones

    Samsung rolled out the latest update, One UI 5.0 beta 3 last week which brings several new upgrades. But the users have found a strange similarity between Samsung's new update and Apple iOS 16 which was rolled out earlier this month.
    Ever since the launch of iOS 16, the new Lock Screen update for iPhones created a lot of buzz in the tech world, with many applauding the tech giant for its new layout.

    Needless to say, 'Lock Screen' customisation is one of the biggest updates introduced by Apple as it gives users the freedom to change widgets, add different wallpapers, choose font type, colours and other filters.

    However, after Samsung rolled out its latest update, One UI 5 beta 3, fans couldn't help but notice that the South Korean brand had taken a lot of inspiration from the Cupertino-based company.

    The fresh software update by Samsung brings several new features such as giving users the control to manage the fonts and colours, placement of the clock on screen and more.

    A Twitter user took to the microblogging platform to share pictures of Samsung's One UI 5 beta 3. It's important to note that Samsung has been allowing users to customise their smartphone's lock screens for years now, but fans couldn't ignore the evident similarities between the South Korean brand and iOS 16's features.

    With the latest update, Samsung users can now choose clock styles from five different options. The update gives users the freedom to change the clock's colour and font style as well.
