Samsung introduces a new color for its Galaxy S8

The Galaxy S8 made its debut eight months ago and Samsung is still kicking out new colors of its handset. The latest color to be added to the line is a dark red color that will arrive to retail starting on November 28.

While there is very little detail about the handset, the specifications should remain the same as previous offerings, and this should just be about the color change. In total, there will now be five colors of the Galaxy S8 available in the world, but what is made available will vary by region.

The new color is being introduced four days after the launch of Apple's iPhone X in Korea. The iPhone X was gone in a matter of minutes during the pre-order phase, which goes to show that Apple does have quite an influence even in other regions. While you might not be able to purchase the dark red edition of the Galaxy S8 in your area, Samsung is still offering some pretty good promotions on its current line up of handsets for the holidays.
