Apple’s retail stores across the globe are known for their impressive design. The company’s flagship stores in some of the biggest cities on the planet are often even regarded as a must-see destination for tourists in the city. Apple’s location at Regent Street in London is one of those flagship stores. According to a new report, Samsung is planning to open a similarly grand location of its own in the UK’s capital.

Bloomberg reports that Samsung is going to lease the 20,000 square foot top floor of the Coal Drops Yard mall in King’s Cross. The mall is still being developed and is going to be opened in October 2018, so Samsung’s location won’t be open before then as well.

The site itself used to be a coal store back in Victorian times. The design upgrade is going to transport the former coal store into possibly one of the best shopping destinations in London.

Samsung’s new location is not likely going to be a retail store. It’s reportedly going to be a place that’s filled with ideas, experiences, and Samsung’s devices. In other words, it will be similar to Samsung’s existing showroom of a similar nature in New York’s Meatpacking district.

Samsung hasn’t confirmed or denied this report about its Coal Drops Yard location so there’s nothing to share about this from the company so far.
